Storing your Will
Once you have made your Will, it is important to know that it is stored in a safe place and that you and your Executors know where it is kept. If you cannot find your original Will or have lost it, it may be deemed that you have not made one.
As part of the Storage Service we will:
- Amend/re-write your Will free of charge should your circumstances change in the future.
- Check that you and your witnesses have signed the Will correctly.
- Write to your Executor/s to inform them of their appointment and to advise them of the contact point should they need to carry out their duties as an Executor.
- Send your Executor/s a useful information leaflet
- Send you a bound copy of your original Will.
